Paul Mosia an optimist, down to earth and kind person, also known to many as “Bra-P”, “Sta-P”, “Master P” and or “Paulisto”. A proudly South African, born and bred in Mamafubedu / Petrus Steyn. The second born of the four children of Samuel and Josephine Mosia. His love for music dates back in his tender age of about 10 years. He listened to music in general and not selective. However, if had to choose will go for Gospel, Soul, Kwaito and Reggae.
During the 80s Paulisto was involved in the church choir and was a full member of both Wesley Guild and Young Mens Guild (Amadodana Ase Wesile) in Mamafubedu. He further joined a gospel group (clap and tap) named “Bacha Ba Kgotso” and later left it and join “True Happiness Choir” which succeeded in recording their first album named “Lehae Le Letle” in 1991 with Cool Spot Studio.
Though his dream to become Radio Presenter wasn’t opening up, he then went on to sing as a backing vocalist for Sammy Malete (great gospel singer of all time) who passed on in 1996, and record several albums with him and the choir.
Paul, a Senior Administrative Assistant at the NPA in Kroonstad, is a founder of MPM Online Radio. Paulisto is the (stage) name that he is known by on Radio and he is a Station Manager cum presenter of 4 (four) shows namely, Sunday Goldies, Mjivo Friday, Reggae Got Soul and Rorisang.
The Station is therefore headquartered in Kroonstad. Along the way, another 3 (three) presenters (namely, King, Mjere and Thabangjoined the station and the station) joined the station and the station has now another 3 (three) satellite studios one in Gauteng (Vanderbijlpark) and the other 2 (two) in Western Cape (Cape Town).
